Build Financial Confidence Through Structured Learning

Our investment confidence programme runs from September 2025 through March 2026. You'll work through practical scenarios with real market examples – not abstract theory that vanishes when markets get volatile.

We Focus on Decision-Making, Not Predictions

Most investment courses teach you to chase returns. We do something different. Our curriculum centres on building a framework for decisions you can stand behind when markets turn unpredictable.

  • Portfolio construction based on your actual risk tolerance, not theoretical models
  • Scenario analysis using historical Irish and European market events
  • Behavioural finance workshops that address why we make poor decisions under pressure
  • Monthly market review sessions where participants present analysis to the group
  • Direct access to our research library and market commentary archive

Practical Sessions You Can Apply Immediately

Each module includes hands-on workshops where you work through real scenarios. These aren't theoretical exercises – they're based on situations our clients have actually faced.

Portfolio Review Workshop

  • Bring your current investment statements (we review anonymously if you prefer)
  • Identify actual costs you're paying – many people discover hidden fees
  • Map your current asset allocation against your stated risk tolerance
  • Calculate whether your portfolio matches your retirement timeline
  • Develop a specific rebalancing plan with trigger points

Company Analysis Exercise

  • Select an Irish-listed company or major European firm
  • Read the last three annual reports and identify key business risks
  • Compare management's promises from past years against actual results
  • Evaluate the company's competitive position in its industry
  • Decide whether the current share price represents value given the analysis

Crisis Scenario Planning

  • Review your portfolio's performance during the 2020 market drop
  • Identify which positions caused the most anxiety and why
  • Create a written plan for what you'll do in the next 20% market decline
  • Establish specific rules for when you'll rebalance versus when you'll hold steady

What Previous Participants Say

Completed 2024

The behavioural finance module changed how I react to market drops. I actually stuck to my plan during February's volatility instead of panic-selling like I usually would.

Autumn 2024 Cohort

I discovered I was paying over 2% annually in fees I didn't know about. The portfolio review workshop alone saved me enough to cover the course cost within two years.

The quarterly follow-ups have been invaluable. Markets behave differently than the textbooks suggest, and having ongoing guidance helps me stay disciplined.

The one-to-one format let us focus on my actual situation rather than generic examples. We built a plan that works for my business income variability and family commitments.
